Our story

Every bill looked fine. The month never did.

That’s the “Aiyoo!” moment this app is named after — not shock, just the sigh you let out when you finally do the maths.

One receipt at a time, nothing looks wrong

A ₹510 Blinkit order. A ₹340 BigBasket top-up. A Zomato order that’s “about the usual.” Each one, taken alone, is completely unremarkable — which is exactly the problem. Your bank statement shows you totals. It never shows you that the atta you buy every month quietly went from ₹42/kg to ₹60/kg over eight orders, or that the same Zomato order that cost ₹350 in January costs ₹520 now for the same two dishes.

Lump sums hide the story. Line items tell it.

Every household finance app we tried did the same thing: pull in the transaction, show the total, call it done. None of them opened the receipt. None of them noticed that “Swiggy — ₹412” was two dishes whose combined price had crept up 20% since the last order, or that a “quick Blinkit run” was quietly becoming a bigger part of the monthly grocery bill than the actual grocery store. So we built the thing that actually reads the receipt — every item, every quantity, every price — instead of just filing away the total.

A household spends together. It should see its spending together.

Real families don’t order everything from one account. One person handles the weekly BigBasket run, another orders lunch on Swiggy, someone else has the Amazon logins memorised. Aiyoo brings every member’s orders — across however many apps and accounts a household actually uses — into one place, so “what did we spend this month” has an actual answer instead of four different people checking four different apps.
